But nobody is asking the real question: Why in the heck would it cost over 900K to ask just 1065 gay men about their penis size and it’s social ramifications? To me, that is the outrage. Liberals are defending it. Conservatives are railing against it. But nobody is asking the real question: Why in the heck would it cost over 900K to ask just 1065 gay men about their penis size and it’s social ramifications?

To me, that is the outrage. Yes, I agree generally with the Conservatives that this is a terrible time to be wasting tax-payer dollars. But seriously, even if it was important to understand how penis size relates to social standing (which is ridiculous), why should that have cost so much?

All I really have to say is, when is it ever going to stop? When will Americans wake up and stop electing these idiots?

Backward Times says the study proves once again, that one out of five gay men have HIV.

Ron James calls us a Penis Centered Society. I say, it’s not the whole society, just a few crooked arrows, if you will (no pun intended).

Locutisprime at BrutallyHonest.org calls it(rightfully so), a glimpse into the bizarre.

Only something this stupid can be reality. Huh?

Then disagreeing, but not making it clear what he disagrees with. In other words, he is trying to be all things to all people. It’s pure politics- He leaves it open to interpretation on purpose, so people can see what they want to see. Well, a lot of people fell for that during his campaign, but now it has become a joke- Only, it’s not that funny.

His face is funny though. Well, it is in this picture. This was a screenshot from the video he released on Youtube yesterday.

If you can bear it, watch the video and see how he first blames Bush without saying the B-word, then takes credit for the tax cuts, then he later admits he is against them.

On letting the tax cuts expire, he says, “this would mean a tax increase of $3000 per year for the typical family, and cost well over a million jobs.” Then he added, “this would be a perfect storm, that would set families, business and our Country back, just as we’re recovering from a recession, and a decade of stagnant wages.” Then he added that he will continue to “Make the case to the American people why (these tax cuts) shouldn’t be renewed,” in two years when the expire.

He actually made some sense, right up until he said, “A decade of stagnant wages.” I guess he doesn’t read the stats. We’ve been steadily growing in the wage department.

Then he had the nerve to say, “as we make the tough choices to cut the deficit…” How stupid does he think we are? He ran up more debt in his first year than any president in history!

Is he lying on purpose?

He said, “We will stop middle class taxes from going up, just as I promised.” But, if you recall his campaign, he said there would be tax cuts for the middle class, but the numbers kept changing. And now he simply says he will stop them from going up. Not going up is not the same thing as going down.

You can still be biased, everyone will be- we can’t help it, it’s who we are. But in order to survive in the so-called new media, you have to be a lot more than just a pencil-pusher. You have to be a platform strategist, marketer, community builder, data miner, complete storyteller and entrepreneur.

Don’t you just love those WEF study tours? Man, I sure do. We can learn a lot from successful people who are doing the job we want. According to this study tour, there are six things a journalist has to know how to do to succeed in the new media:

1. You have to be a Platform Strategist. That is, you have to know the platforms, technologies and players, the consumer, and the organization.

2. You have to be a Marketer. You have to realize that what you have is a product, and you have to make sure yours is different, better. You have to have a brand- something that defines you. And then use the right tools to find the consumers of your brand.

3. You have to be a Community Builder. You have to want people to connect and share, target those with similar interests, tap into peoples’ passions, involve others in reporting and sharing, get involved locally, and cement your place in the community.

4. You have to be a Data Miner. Leah McBride Mensching said it well in his story, WEF study tour: Capturing new market opportunities; “Data is ubiquitous and cheap, but the ability to analyse and utilise that data is scarce.”

5. You have to be a complete Story Teller. You can’t just ramble on with a monotone like Ben Stein (although that works for him- but that’s his brand), you have to paint a picture, take people down the road with you, and help them visualize the story, live it with them. Tell you stories with passion, be interactive, provide useful content, and be understanding.

6. You have to be an Entrepreneur. Journalism is a business, first and foremost. You have to create partnerships, invest in areas that work, experiment, try new revenue models, promote your product, sell, sell, sell.

He delivered a powerful speech on the Hillsdale College campus on September 20, 2010, where he called on President Obama to adhere to the Constitution. And he reminded Mr. Obama that his role is very limited by our founding documents and we the people.

This speech should have been big news. I did hear a little about it on Fox News, but only a mention. It was by chance that I stumbled onto it online. But this speech by Mike Pence is one for the record books for sure.

Pence said, “…the president should never forget this; that he has not risen above us, but is merely one of us, chosen by ballot, dismissed after his term, tasked not to transform and work his will upon us, but to bear the weight of decision and to carry out faithfully the design laid down in the Constitution in accordance with the Declaration of Independence.”

Mr. pence reminded us all that our Constitution was laid down carefully by our founding fathers, to maintain a strict balance of powers. And without so many words, he reminded us that this balance of powers means the President is supposed to “restrain the Congress at times.”

He accused both parties presidents of relinquishing power to the Congress, and described the current Congressional power-grab and presidential arrogance as a “tutelage of a single party,” that is, “thus fused in unholy unity, the political class has raged forward in a drunken expansion of powers and prerogatives, mistakenly assuming that to exercise power is by default to do good.”

Pence touched on Obama’s Socialism, with, “He may give to Paul, but only because he robs Peter.”

And with another vague reference to Obama’s arrogance, Pence warned us all that, “And that is why you must always be wary of a president who seems to float upon his own greatness. For all greatness is tempered by mortality, every soul is equal, and distinctions among men cannot be owned; they are on loan from God, who takes them back and evens accounts at the end.”

Congressman Pence also poked a stick at judicial activism, when he said, “It is a tragedy indeed that new generations taking office attribute failures in governance to insufficient power, and seek more of it. In the judiciary, this has seldom been better expressed than by Justice Thurgood Marshall, who said: ‘You do what you think is right and let the law catch up’.”

It’s a darn shame that this administration is so power hungry, and so arrogant to think they know better than we, who are his boss. I say we fire him in 2012 and bring in Pence.

Pence went on and on about Obama’s arrogance and hunger for power. It made me proud to listen to him. And Pence put the power in its rightful place when he said, “The president is not our teacher, our tutor, our guide or ruler. He does not command us; we command him.”

And he gave examples of Obama’s assumption of power, with, “Listen to the words of the leader of President Obama’s transition team and perhaps his next chief-of-staff: ‘It’s important that President-Elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule day one.’ Or, more recently, the latest presidential appointment to avoid confirmation by the Senate—the new head of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau—who wrote last Friday: ‘President Obama understands the importance of leveling the playing field again.’

‘Take power. . .rule. . .leveling.’ Though it is the model now, this has never been and should never again be the model of the presidency or the character of the American president. No one can say this too strongly, and no one can say it enough until it is remedied. We are not subjects; we are citizens. We fought a war so that we do not have to treat even kings like kings, and—if I may remind you—we won that war. Since then, the principle of royalty has, in this country, been inoperative. Who is better suited or more required to exemplify this conviction, in word and deed, than the President of the United States?”

His speech was a long one, but a very powerful one. It ranks right up there with Zell Miller’s speech at the Republican Convention in 2000, and with anything Ronald Reagan ever said. And you can read it in its entirety at DBKP. I hope you’ll take the time.

And I hope Mike Pence gets more time… on TV, radio, and everywhere. He is a strong voice in a time when leadership is sorely needed. If he keeps this up, we just might be seeing a glimpse of the next front-runner on the right.

Then we pounce- Top Liberal websites- what a bunch of phony-baloney schmoozers. OK, I’ll give them their due, after all, all of these Liberal websites rank higher than mine. But hey, I got the truth on my side- Conservatism, patriotic Americanism, Constitutional Biblism. (I just made that word up.)

You have to see this list of 100 top Liberal websites, just to know what kind of radical, atheistic, anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, and dare I say, anti-American Socialism is out there, in the name of Democracy. Anyway, it pays to know your enemy. Yes, enemy- enemy of the State, enemy of all that is good in this Country in my humble opinion.

What’s that? I’m being divisive? This Country is getting more and more polarized? I know it is. And maybe I am too. But that is the reality whether you admit it or not. Politics in general is getting more polarized, on both sides.

Liberals are sliding more to the left, embracing Marxism- just look at who they elected to the highest office in this Country- an avowed fan of Carl Marx. He said so in his audio-book, the Audacity of Truth.

And yes, Conservatives are sliding more to the right. Take a look at this Gallup poll, which shows more Americans are becoming pro-life- a trend for over a decade.

Congratulations to all the Progressive Liberal website that made the list. Too bad you guys can’t do as well on the radio. But then, I guess it stands to reason- Conservatives are out driving and working, listening to their car-radio. While Liberals are at home, wearing sandals and ponytails, making Bush-Hitler protest signs, smoking pot and playing around on the computer. Just kidding, kind of.

There are some surprises, like Dick Morris’ upward mobility, and Laura Ingraham’s downward locality. But Fox News on top sounds about right. That ought to irk some Liberals.

But as painful as it is, it’s the truth. It’s factually incorrect to say (as Mr. Obama says) that a few extremists have perverted a great religion.

The fact is, they are commanded to kill Christians and Jews in their holy book, dozens of times. I wish I was wrong. But it appears to me that if all Muslims were to take their Quran seriously they would all be “extremists”.

Here are just a few examples:

Sura 9:5 says, “Slay the idolaters wherever you find them.”

Quran (2:216) – “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.”

Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”

It’s not that we don’t like them. We’re just defending ourselves.

That, reported by Praveen Swami, Diplomatic Editor of The Telegraph in the UK. US and Pakistani sources say al-Adel is running several operations intended to persway Western officials that the war on Terror is unwinnable, and his strategy is to stage multiple, small terror attacks using resources of allies and affiliates.

Earlier this year he was released from Iranian custody along with Saad bin Laden, Osama bin Laden’s son, in a trade deal for Heshmatollah Attarzadeh, a Pakistan-based diplomat kidnapped by al-Qaeda last year.

But after a closer look, I get upset at the writers in the media who portray the story in that Marxist tone- and they don’t even ask the right questions. The untold fact is, those exec’s earned that money by increasing the Trib’s cash flow from 492 million in 2009 to 685 million in 2010. They made the company an extra (almost) 200 million, so why shouldn’t they get a little cut? The other elephant in the room is- how much do they actually owe their creditors?

Even the Chicago Tribunes’ own story doesn’t answer that question. You’d think they would try to set the record straight and justify their bonus pay, but all they do is try to justify it by pointing our the income those exec’s earned the company. The big question still remains- how much do they owe their creditors?

After combing the web and reading a dozen different takes on this story, finally (to the Tribune’s credit) they did announce their debt amount in a story from October- over 12 billion! But there are problems with that figure- many believe the exec’s that led the company down the bankruptcy path are personally responsible, namely, billionaire Sam Zell and other executives and advisers who crafted the disastrous 2007 leveraged buyout that landed the media conglomerate in bankruptcy court less than a year later.

The Tribune company owns the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times and other media outlets.

Considering the company’s profit from 2010, they ought to at least be able to put a dent in their bill, and still pay their top performers well for a job well done. It’s not as if they crashed and burned the company and still expect millions as the headline would indicate.

We can sit around and act like it’s not a war, but that gives the advantage to our enemies. You can say you are not in this war, but someone sees you as an enemy. So, what are you going to do about it?

I’ll tell you what we are doing here at Frounce.com- we are telling all who will listen. I think that’s a good start at least. What’s the first thing you do when you have a problem? Ask any alcoholic, the first and most difficult thing is to admit you have a problem. Well, we admit it. Do you?
